It's a story of Incest, abandonment, medical problems, alcohol and drug use, and cruelity of other people over those that are weak or ignorant. While reading Donny you may think the author is making fun or putting him down, but it's just how the story goes. The author had respect and admiration for Donny and attempted to make Donnys' life as good as it could be. Hopefully, Donny will open the readers eyes to the plight of other Donny's out there and try to give them a little understanding.
